Fills up stat sheet in setback Citron closed Tuesday's 85-76 loss to the Fever with 13 points (5-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, one assist and one block in 33 minutes.

Impact Citron has a respectable shooting night, including the successful make from long range, and she managed to get to seven or more rebounds for the third time in the past six outings. She has chipped in with a blocked shot in the past two contests, too, while hitting for 10+ points in each of her eight games to date.

Records 14 points Sunday Citron produced 14 points (5-8 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound, four assists and one steal in 33 minutes during Sunday's 68-62 loss to the Mercury.

Impact Citron has been one of the standout rookies in the early stages of the season, and she's scored in double digits in each of her appearances while showing no problems in adjusting to a starting role. Through five contests, Citron is averaging 15.4 points, 3.4 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 0.8 steals per game while scoring at least 15 points in three of her five outings.

Continues to impress Citron chipped in 19 points (6-11 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five rebounds and three assists across 36 minutes during Friday's 75-72 loss to the Aces.

Impact While four games are not enough to make a proper judgement of the kind of player she'll be in the WNBA, there's no doubt Citron has adjusted to life in the pro ranks better than anyone could've expected. She has scored at least 15 points in three of her first four contests, and it already looks like she'll be a regular scoring weapon for the Mystics. Through her first four games as a pro, Citron is averaging 15.8 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game while shooting 51.3 percent from the floor.

Another solid outing in win Citron notched 15 points (5-10 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 5-6 FT), one rebound, three assists, one block and two steals in 24 minutes during Sunday's 90-85 victory over Connecticut.

Impact Citron is making the most of her expanded role to start the season, totaling 34 points (11-17 FG) in two games. Georgia Amoore (knee) is out for the season, so Citron has a clear path to consistent minutes, especially if she keeps this production up for the 2-0 Mystics.

Excels in regular-season opener Citron recorded 19 points (6-7 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 5-6 FT), two rebounds and two assists across 24 minutes during Friday's 94-90 win over Atlanta.

Impact Shakira Austin (leg) and Aaliyah Edwards (back) are sidelined to start the campaign, but that didn't slow down the Mystics, who got an upset win on Opening Night while starting two rookies -- Citron and Kiki Iriafen. Brittney Sykes, Stefanie Dolson and Sug Sutton rounded out the starting five, while Jade Melbourne (22 minutes), Emily Engstler (13) and Sika Kone (12) led the bench unit. Given how well Citron played, it seems safe to assume she has a starting spot locked up moving forward.

Efficient despite loss Saturday Citron recorded 15 points (5-6 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT), four rebounds, two assists, a steal and a block across 22 minutes in Saturday's preseason overtime loss to the Fever.

Impact Citron was selected by the Mystics with the third overall pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft and should be a regular starter right away for Washington. This preseason showing did nothing but justify the idea of her having a big role on offense right out of the gate in her rookie year.

Selected by Washington at No. 3 The Mystics selected Citron with the No. 3 pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft on Monday, Kareem Copeland of The Washington Post reports.

Impact Citron is fresh off another impressive season at Notre Dame, averaging 14.1 points, 5.4 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.9 steals in 32 appearances. She'll enter a promising situation in Washington, as the club doesn't currently possess much WNBA experience outside of Brittney Sykes in the backcourt. Citron certainly has the skillset to succeed in the early stages of her professional basketball career, shooting 48.4 percent from the field and 37.2 percent from deep during her senior season with the Fighting Irish.
