Impact Gardner was coming off the bench again with Sabrina Ionescu (toe) back from an injury. Gardner didn't respond well, shooting erratically, while doing nothing else in terms of production.
SEPTEMBER 10 • ROTOWIRE
Bench role Tuesday Gardner will come off the bench during Tuesday's game against the Mystics.
Impact With Ionescu (toe) returning after a four-game absence and set to start, Gardner will be in the second unit. In 34 appearances in a reserve role, Gardner has averaged 3.1 points and 1.7 rebounds per game, shooting 50 percent from the floor and 44.4 percent from deep.
SEPTEMBER 9 • ROTOWIRE
Will start Friday Gardner will be in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Storm.
Impact Gardner will make her fifth start of the 2025 campaign, with Kennedy Burke heading to the bench and Sabrina Ionescu (toe) ruled out. As a starter, Gardner is averaging 6.5 points and 2.0 rebounds per game, shooting 47.6 percent from the field and 44.4 percent from deep.
SEPTEMBER 6 • ROTOWIRE
Grabs six boards in defeat Gardner ended with four points (2-2 FG), six rebounds and one assist across 22 minutes during Saturday's 78-62 loss to the Dream.
Impact The 35-year-old guard saw an uptick in playing time due to Sabrina Ionescu (foot) being sidelined, logging double-digit minutes for the first time since Aug. 5. Gardner has appeared in three of the club's last five outings, during which she has averaged 2.3 points and 2.3 rebounds across 10.3 minutes per game.
AUGUST 24 • ROTOWIRE
Plays six minutes in win Gardner finished Tuesday's 105-97 win over the Sparks with three points (1-2 FG, 1-1 3Pt) and two rebounds across six minutes.
Impact Gardner continues to be an emergency depth option for the Liberty. Over her last three appearances, she's seen a total of 12 minutes off the bench.
AUGUST 13 • ROTOWIRE
Plays 12 minutes in win Gardner had three points (1-2 FG, 1-2 3Pt), two rebounds and three assists across 12 minutes during Tuesday's 85-76 win over Dallas.
Impact With Emma Meesseman in town, the Liberty are likely to lean on bigger lineups. Gardner has seen 12 or fewer minutes in three of her last four appearances and remains off the fantasy radar in most formats.
AUGUST 6 • ROTOWIRE
Scores six points in 22 minutes Gardner ended Sunday's 87-78 win over the Sun with six points (2-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, one assist, one block and two steals in 22 minutes.
Impact With 22 minutes to her name, Gardner saw her largest workload since June 25. The Liberty are a bit shorthanded these days, but Gardner was held to single-digit minutes in her previous two outings. Despite a solid line, she remains difficult to trust in fantasy formats.
AUGUST 4 • ROTOWIRE
Makes most of limited minutes Gardner provided five points (1-3 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and one steal across nine minutes during Friday's 78-62 loss to Connecticut.
Impact Gardner didn't even crack double digits in minutes played, but she had five points in her limited duty, and she did not have any turnovers, while also collecting the steal. She has at least five points and at least one steal in two of her past three outings.
AUGUST 2 • ROTOWIRE
Plays nine minutes in loss Gardner chipped in zero points (0-1 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and one steal in nine minutes during Wednesday's 100-93 loss to Minnesota.
Impact Although the Liberty are very shorthanded these days, Gardner remains a limited part of the rotation. Until that changes, she's safe to ignore in most fantasy formats.
JULY 31 • ROTOWIRE
Notches five points Gardner registered five points (1-3 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and one assist over 16 minutes during Monday's 92-82 loss to Dallas.
Impact Gardner saw a mild uptick in minutes Monday, and that may be the case in the short term with Breanna Stewart (leg) without a timetable to return. Gardner does not offer a lot of upside, however, as she holds season averages of 4.0 points, 2.0 rebounds and 0.6 assists in 12.8 minutes per game.
JULY 29 • ROTOWIRE
Logs eight minutes Gardner notched six points (2-2 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two steals, one rebound and one assist in eight minutes during Wednesday's 98-77 victory over the Fever.

JULY 17 • ROTOWIRE
Sees three minutes Gardner racked up zero points (0-1 FG, 0-1 3Pt) across three minutes during Sunday's 79-72 win over the Dream.
Impact With Natasha Cloud and Isabelle Harrison healthy again, Gardner doesn't have a path to consistent minutes currently. The guard has appeared in 20 games this season with averages of 4.2 points and 1.9 rebounds in 13.5 minutes per contest.
JULY 14 • ROTOWIRE
Paces second unit in loss Gardner chipped in eight points (3-6 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds and two steals across 11 minutes in Sunday's 79-70 loss to the Storm.
Impact Gardner led the Liberty's bench in scoring and logged double-digit minutes for the fifth time over the club's last six outings. The 34-year-old also tied the team-high mark in steals, recording multiple swipes for just the second time this season. Over her last three outings (one start), Gardner has averaged 3.0 points and 1.0 rebounds across 8.7 minutes per game.
JULY 6 • ROTOWIRE
Bench role Thursday Gardner will come off the bench during Thursday's game against the Sparks.
Impact After starting the last four games, Gardner will retreat to a bench role with Leonie Fiebich returning following a stint overseas to play in the EuroBasket. In 12 games off the bench this season, Gardner is averaging 3.9 points and 1.9 rebounds per game, shooting 51.5 percent from the field.
JULY 3 • ROTOWIRE
Limited to just one point Gardner recorded one point (0-1 FG, 1-2 FT) and one block in 11 minutes during Sunday's 90-81 loss to the Dream.
Impact While Gardner started the game, she did next to nothing, save for the blocked shot. After having some success in her first two starts against the Storm and the Valkyries, she has averaged just 1.5 points and 1.5 rebounds per game in the past two outings. She is seeing a little extra run with Jonquel Jones (ankle) and Leonie Fiebich (not injury related) sidelined, but Garnder isn't seizing the opportunity lately.
JUNE 30 • ROTOWIRE
Tallies season high in start Gardner posted 12 points (5-8 FG, 2-3 3Pt), two rebounds and one block over 21 minutes in Sunday's 89-79 loss to the Seattle Storm.
Impact Gardner got her first start of the season Sunday with New York shorthanded, reaching double figures with a pair of threes to conclude as one of three Liberty players with a double-digit scoring total in a losing effort. Gardner set a new season high in scoring, posting her second game of the year in double figures. Expect a larger role for Gardner and a few others as New York maneuvers through injuries on the roster.
JUNE 23 • ROTOWIRE
Getting starting nod Sunday Gardner is in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Storm.
Impact Gardner will make her first start of the season Sunday as the Liberty are missing several key contributors, including Sabrina Ionescu (neck), Jonquel Jones (ankle) and Leonie Fiebich (not injury related). Gardner is averaging 3.9 points on 12.7 minutes per contest across 12 bench appearances this season.
JUNE 22 • ROTOWIRE
Hauls in five boards Gardner contributed zero points (0-2 FG) and five rebounds across nine minutes during Thursday's 89-81 loss to the Mercury.
Impact Gardner remains a fringe rotation player for the Liberty. Through 12 games, she's seeing 12.8 minutes per night with 3.9 points, 1.9 rebounds and 0.8 assists per game.
JUNE 20 • ROTOWIRE
Season-high 11 points Gardner amassed 11 points (4-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds and one steal in 18 minutes during Friday's 85-63 victory over the Mystics.
Impact Gardner notched season highs in minutes, points and rebounds. She's played at least 13 minutes off the bench in four of the last five games, averaging 6.2 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.0 steals in 14.0 minutes.
JUNE 1 • ROTOWIRE
Double-digit minutes again Gardner racked up three points (1-2 FG, 1-1 3Pt), one rebound and one assist over 13 minutes during Thursday's 82-77 victory over the Valkyries.
Impact Gardner has played double-digit minutes in three of the last four games, averaging 5.0 points, 1.5 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 1.0 steals in 13.0 minutes. Gardner is currently part of the Liberty's eight-person rotation, with Marine Johannes and Kennedy Burke leading the bench unit.
MAY 30 • ROTOWIRE
Set to start against Connecticut Gardner is in the starting five for Friday's preseason game versus the Sun, Alford Corriette of Her Hoop Stats reports.
Impact Gardner is set to make her WNBA return Friday after missing the 2024 campaign due to an Achilles injury. While Gardner is expected to operate as a bench player in New York once the regular season rolls around, the absences of Breanna Stewart (knee) and Leonie Fiebich (not with team) have opened a starting spot.
MAY 9 • ROTOWIRE
Good to go Friday Gardner (Achilles) isn't on the injury report for Friday's preseason game against the Sun, Alford Corriette of Her Hoop Stats reports.
Impact Gardner missed all of last season due to an Achilles injury but is healthy heading into the 2025 campaign. Gardner will be able to compete for playing time in Friday's preseason outing as she vies for a regular-season roster spot in New York.
