Impact Allen underwent season-ending back surgery in September of 2024, but she moved past the issue during the offseason. The 32-year-old was traded from the Mercury to the Sun before being dealt from Connecticut to Chicago, and she should have an opportunity to serve as a starter with the Sky after averaging 7.4 points and 3.9 rebounds in 24.8 minutes per game while operating exclusively in a starting capacity over 18 regular-season appearances with the Mercury last year.
