Won't start Thursday
Sims won't start in Thursday's game versus Las Vegas, WNBA writer Dorothy J. Gentry reports.
Impact
Sims started in all seven regular-season contests. However, with Azzi Fudd getting the start versus the Aces, Sims will head to the bench, although she could receive more minutes than the rest of the reserves.

Logs eight minutes in win
Sims registered two assists over eight minutes during Sunday's 91-76 victory over the Liberty.
Impact
Sims saw her lowest workload of the season and failed to attempt a shot during her time on the floor. She was coming off a 14-point game with five assists, so that alone may warrant a bit of patience from fantasy managers.

Productive on both ends Friday
Sims finished with 14 points (5-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-3 FT), one rebound, five assists and two steals across 21 minutes in Friday's 86-69 loss to Atlanta.
Impact
Sims scored 20 points in the Wings first game of the 2026 campaign. However, she struggled by combining for only 22 points in the four games ahead of Friday's loss. Although the 33-year-old got back on track offensively, her volatility on the scoring end may continue to be a trend throughout the remainder of the season.

Sims closed with zero points (0-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and four assists over 16 minutes during Monday's 92-69 victory over Washington.
Impact
Sims has cooled off after a hot start to the campaign, but picking up four fouls didn't do her any favors Monday. Through four games, she's still shooting a solid 50.0 percent from the field with 9.5 points, 3.3 assists, 1.0 rebounds and 1.0 steals in 22.3 minutes per contest.

Drops nine points in starting role
Sims recorded nine points (4-4 FG, 1-2 FT), four assists, three rebounds and a steal in 15 minutes during Thursday's 95-80 preseason win over the Fever.
Impact
Sims took on a starting role during Thursday's exhibition since the Wings were playing without Arike Ogunbowale (not injury related). Sims was perfect from the floor while also posting the second-highest assist total on the team despite seeing the fewest minutes of any Dallas starter Thursday. The 33-year-old made 24 regular-season appearances (21 starts) between Indiana and Los Angeles last year, averaging 10.1 points, 3.8 assists and 2.4 rebounds in 27.9 minutes per game.

Leads Indiana in loss
Sims supplied 27 points (7-14 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 12-13 FT), six assists, two rebounds and one steal across 41 minutes in Tuesday's 107-98 Game 5 overtime loss to the Aces.
Impact
Sims led the Fever in scoring, with 14 of her 27 points coming in the fourth quarter and overtime. She also dished out a team-high mark in assists. The veteran guard signed three seven-day hardship contracts with the injury-plagued Fever before securing a rest-of-season contract, and she played a key role in their playoff run, posting at least 16 points in five of her eight appearances. Over 12 regular-season appearances with Indiana in 2025, Sims averaged 10.3 points and 4.0 assists across 26.4 minutes per game. She's now set to enter free agency ahead of the 2026 campaign.
