Plays through leg issue
Puoch finished with zero points (0-1 FG), one rebound, one block and one turnover in 20 minutes during Wednesday's 90-73 loss to the Fever.
Impact
Puoch appeared to tweak something in her right leg at the end of the third quarter, which required a quick trip to the locker room, but she returned to the bench for the final frame. She did not check back in the game during the fourth quarter, but that was likely due to the blowout nature of the game. The good news is Puoch will have two days to rest up before Portland's next game in Toronto on Saturday.

Playing steady minutes
Puoch logged 10 points (4-8 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds and one steal across 21 minutes during Monday's 83-82 win over Connecticut.
Impact
The rookie forward is carving out a stable role for the Fire in the early going, starting all four of her appearances. Puoch is averaging 7.0 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals in 22.8 minutes per game this season, reaching the 20-minute marker in all but one contest.

Totals 13 points in loss
Puoch recorded 13 points (5-9 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), two rebounds, two assists and two steals in 31 minutes during Thursday's 100-82 loss to New York.
Impact
Puoch responded nicely Thursday after being held to five total points in her first two appearances of the 2026 season. She shot the ball with efficiency and led the Fire in scoring, joining Bridget Carleton and Emily Engstler in double figures. Puoch has drawn plenty of opportunities since inking a rookie deal with Portland in April, and while she's gotten off to a bit of a slow start to her WNBA career, Thursday's showing is a clear step in the right direction.

Scores 12 in preseason finale
Puoch recorded 12 points (4-5 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-4 FT), two assists, one rebound and one steal during Sunday's 85-75 preseason loss to the Sparks.
Impact
Puoch showed encouraging range by knocking down a pair of three-pointers, an important development for a forward trying to earn regular minutes on an expansion roster. The Australian was selected by Portland in the 2026 Expansion Draft, but she's yet to make her WNBA debut after opting to remain overseas despite being drafted by Atlanta in 2024. She'll compete with Luisa Geiselsoder, Chloe Bibby and others for frontcourt minutes in Portland, and if her perimeter shooting translates to the regular season, Puoch could work her way into the Fire's rotation as a stretch-four option.

Signs rookie-scale deal
Puoch signed her rookie-scale contract with the Fire on Saturday, Alexa Philippou of ESPN.com reports.
Impact
Puoch was selected by the Dream in the first round of the 2024 WNBA Draft, though she remained in Australia's WNBL for the past two years. However, she's now set to join the Fire, who selected her in the second round of the 2026 WNBA Expansion Draft. The 6-foot-3 forward will likely have an opportunity to carve out a role in the Portland rotation in 2026.

Selected by Portland
Puoch was selected by the Fire in the WNBA Expansion Draft on Friday, Sara Jane Gamelli of BallisLife.com reports.
Impact
Puoch was the final first-round pick of the 2024 WNBA Draft, but she remained overseas to play in the WNBL in 2024 and 2025. If she makes her WNBA debut in 2026, Puoch could have a regular spot in rotation during Portland's inaugural season.

Not expected to play in 2025
Puoch is not on the final roster for the Dream.
Impact
Atlanta selected Puoch with the last pick in the first round of the 2024 WNBA Draft. However, she remained overseas in the WNBL. The 20-year-old appears to be staying abroad for another year, as she was not a player listed on the Dream's final roster ahead of the 2025-26 WNBA regular season.
