Waived by Dallas The Wings have waived Charles, The Wings Bulletin reports.

Impact Dallas acquired Yueru in a trade with Seattle on Saturday, and in a corresponding move, they parted ways with Charles. The 27-year-old guard played in 11 games for the Wings during the 2025 campaign and averaged 4.9 points and 3.5 rebounds per game, shooting 43.2 percent from the field.

Impact Charles will return to her typical bench role Wednesday now that Paige Bueckers (illness) is healthy. In 10 appearances this season, Charles is averaging 5.4 points and 3.6 rebounds over 14.3 minutes.

Impact Charles moved into the starting lineup, but she didn't even attempt a shot in her 16 minutes. She was able to secure three rebounds, but Maddy Siegrist was far more productive in 26 minutes, going for 15 points and 11 rebounds after moving back to the bench. Charles has three games with 10 or more points in the six outings, but each time she has scored in double digits, she has followed that up with four or fewer points in the next outing.
