Marina Mabrey scores season-high 34 points, Sun beat Dream 84-76 for first home victory

Marina Mabrey scored a season-high 34 points and Tina Charles had seven of her 19 points in the final six minutes to help the Connecticut Sun beat the Atlanta Dream 84-76 for their...

Efficient in comeback win Jones produced 15 points (7-10 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five rebounds, two assists and one steal over 29 minutes during Friday's 94-87 victory over Seattle.
Impact Jones was held under 30 minutes of playing time Friday for just the second time over her first seven appearances of the season, but she shot 70 percent from the floor to reach the 15-point threshold for the first time in her last four outings. The 29-year-old wasn't dominant on the boards, but it was encouraging to see her efficiency against Seattle after she went just 5-for-14 from the floor during Tuesday's win over the Sparks.

Quiet in win Jones produced eight points (3-5 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds and one assist across 27 minutes during Sunday's 79-55 win over the Sun.
Impact For the first time this season, Jones was held to single-digit points and rebounds Sunday after posting a double-double in her previous four contests. For that reason, fantasy managers can chalk this up as a rare off night, and it didn't help that the lopsided score kept her minutes in check.

Gray, Griner pair up to help Atlanta Dream past Dallas Wings

Alisha Gray scored 27 points and Brionna Jones recorded a double-double and the Atlanta Dream took control just before halftime and went on to beat the Dallas Wings 83-75
MAY 24 • Associated Press
Keeps double-double streak alive Jones amassed 15 points (4-13 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 5-7 FT), 11 rebounds, three assists and one steal over 33 minutes during Thursday's 81-76 loss to the Fever.
Impact Jones has been one of the best players for the Dream in the early stages of the season and has recorded three double-doubles in three outings so far. The lack of efficiency was an issue Thursday, as she only made four of her 13 shots from the floor, but that won't matter much as long as she continues to be a solid two-way presence.
MAY 23 • ROTOWIRE
Double-double in road upset win Jones provided 19 points (6-12 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 7-10 FT), 13 rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal across 33 minutes during Tuesday's 91-90 victory over the Fever.
Impact Jones has recorded double-doubles in each of her two games to date, averaging 17.5 ppg, 11.5 rpg and 4.0 apg with 1.0 bpg. She has failed to hit a successful three-pointer, but that's about the only thing she isn't doing well. She'll look to keep things going in the second end of a back-to-back with the Fever on Thursday.

Rhyne Howard's late free throw helps the Dream outlast Caitlin Clark and the Fever, 91-90

Rhyne Howard made a go-ahead free throw with 9.1 seconds left, and the Atlanta Dream withstood a thrilling fourth-quarter rally led by Caitlin Clark to beat the Indiana Fever 91-90
MAY 21 • Associated Press
Solid all-around performance Jones recorded 16 points (6-13 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-8 FT), 10 rebounds, five assists and one block over 34 minutes during Friday's 94-90 loss to Washington.
Impact Jones made her Atlanta debut Friday during the season opener and quickly established a productive frontcourt pairing alongside Brittney Griner by posting a double-double. The Dream underwent several changes in the offseason, but all signs point to Jones being one of the team's go-to players on a regular basis. She averaged 13.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.2 steals in 27.2 minutes per game during the 2024 regular season in Connecticut, and even those numbers would represent a productive stat line in Atlanta.
