Undergoes knee surgery
The Dream announced Monday that Jones is recovering from right knee surgery and is without a timetable to return, Sara Jane Gamelli of BallisLife.com reports.
Impact
Jones suffered a torn meniscus back in February while playing overseas for USK Praha, and she's recovering surgery to begin training camp ahead of the 2026 WNBA season. During the 2025 campaign, she averaged 12.8 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.1 steals in 26.6 minutes per game, and she hasn't missed a regular-season game in the past two seasons. It's not yet clear when she'll be able to return, but Naz Hillmon and rookie Madina Okot are candidates to see increased playing time if Jones is sidelined for any regular-season action.

Set to return to Atlanta
Jones (knee) is finalizing a deal to return to the Dream, Sean Hurd of ESPN reports Friday.
Impact
Jones' season overseas was cut short due to a torn meniscus that required surgery, but she's expected to be ready to return in time for the start of the 2026 WNBA season. It's not yet clear whether she'll have any limitations to begin training camp, but she'll remain in Atlanta for a second consecutive year and will play alongside Angel Reese in the Dream's frontcourt after the team traded for her this week. Jones started all 44 regular-season matchups for the Dream last year and averaged 12.8 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.1 steals in 26.6 minutes per game.

Suffers torn meniscus
Jones suffered a torn meniscus last week while playing overseas for USK Praha, Alexa Philippou of ESPN.com reports Friday.
Impact
Although Jones will require surgery and miss the rest of the season for her Czech club, she's expected to return from her injury in time for the start of the 2026 WNBA season. Jones appeared in all 44 regular-season games during her first year in Atlanta in 2025, and she averaged 12.8 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.1 steals in 26.6 minutes per game. She's slated to be an unrestricted free agent during the offseason but should draw plenty of interest despite her injury.

Well-rounded stat line in loss
Jones had 12 points (5-8 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal over 32 minutes during Thursday's 87-85 Game 3 loss to the Fever.
Impact
Although Jones had a well-rounded stat line overall Thursday, she missed the potential game-winning three-point attempt as time expired as the Dream were eliminated from the playoffs. The 29-year-old remained productive during her first season in Atlanta, but she had a slightly lower ceiling than previous years, as she averaged 12.8 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.1 steals in 26.6 minutes per game while starting in all 44 regular-season matchups. She'll become an unrestricted free agent during the offseason and will presumably draw plenty of interest.

Accurate in Game 2 loss
Jones posted 11 points (4-6 FG), two rebounds, one assist and two steals across 22 minutes in Tuesday's 77-60 Game 2 loss to the Fever.
Impact
Jones did a good job shooting, but she was the only Atlanta starter to hit more shots than she missed. The Dream hit just 37.9 percent (25-66 FG) from the field in the Game 2 loss. She is averaging 10.0 points, 3.5 rebounds. 2.0 assists and 2.5 steals per game in two playoff appearances this season.
