Dealing with thumb issue Ogunbowale is dealing with a thumb issue, Joey Mistretta of ClutchPoints.com reports.
Impact Ogunbowale sat out practice on Tuesday, with head coach Chris Koclanes saying that the Wings were waiting on another update from the medical team. With this news, Ogunbowale's status for Thursday's game against the Mercury is now in jeopardy. If she's forced to miss time, the Wings would need Paige Bueckers (knee) to soak up even more usage.

Sits out practice Ogunbowale (undisclosed) did not practice Tuesday, Joey Mistretta of ClutchPoints.com reports.
Impact It's unclear what ailment Ogunbowale is dealing with, though it's not out of the question that this was simply a maintenance day. The Wings don't play until Thursday against the Mercury, and more clarity should be known once the team releases their injury report Wednesday. On the other hand, Paige Bueckers (knee) fully practiced Tuesday.

Poor shooting display Ogunbowale finished with 14 points (6-16 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, three assists and two steals across 34 minutes in Saturday's 79-71 win over the Mystics.
Impact There were four players who scored in double digits for the Wings in this game. While Ogunbowale was one of the team's top scoring weapons, she also had a rough performance from an efficiency perspective. Fantasy managers probably know Ogunbowale won't be very efficient with her shots, and they'll probably overlook that as long as she continues to put up solid scoring numbers on a game-to-game basis.

JJ Quinerly scored a season-high 15 points in her first WNBA start and fellow rookie Aziaha James also had 15 to help the Dallas Wings beat the Washington Mystics 79-71

Scores 15 points Friday Ogunbowale posted 15 points (5-12 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), a rebound, an assist, a steal and a block across 32 minutes in Friday's 94-86 loss to the Fever.
Impact Fantasy managers who decided to trust Ogunbowale this season, either on season-long formats or DFS, know the star guard is not going to be a player who will stand out based on her efficiency. However, Ogunbowale should rack up points every time she steps on the court, and that was the case again Friday. This was the fifth time she scored 15 or more points in her last six appearances. Even with the emergence of Paige Bueckers as a fantasy star, Ogunbowale should continue to deliver value as long as she finds a way to score the basket with consistency -- and that isn't going to change based on what she's done in recent games.
JUNE 28 • ROTOWIRE
Puts up 21 points in win Ogunbowale supplied 21 points (6-14 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 9-9 FT), one rebound, four assists and two steals over 35 minutes during Tuesday's 68-55 victory over Atlanta.
Impact After a quiet start to the season, Ogunbowale's fantasy value is stabilizing as she develops chemistry alongside Paige Bueckers. Through 16 games, she's shooting 35.9 percent from the field with averages of 17.1 points, 4.1 assists, 2.8 rebounds and 1.5 steals in 34.3 percent from the field.

Impact Ogunbowale had her most points since exploding for a season-high 37 points in a loss to the Sky on May 29. She has scored at least 19 points in three of the past four games, and she has exactly three successful three-pointer attempts in three of the past four games, too.

Off injury report for Tuesday Ogunbowale (illness) isn't listed on the Wings' injury report for Tuesday's game against the Valkyries.
Impact Ogunbowale missed Sunday's practice due to the illness but was able to return Monday. The star guard is unlikely to face any restrictions against Golden State after returning to practice. Over her last five appearances, the 28-year-old has averaged 15.6 points, 5.0 assists and 3.0 rebounds across 34.8 minutes per game.
JUNE 16 • ROTOWIRE
Returns to practice Ogunbowale (illness) returned to practice Monday, Joey Mistretta of Clutch Points reports.
Impact After missing Sunday's practice, Ogunbowale appears to be trending in the right direction ahead of Tuesday's game against the Valkyries. Ogunbowale holds averages of 16.6 points, 4.3 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 1.4 steals in 33.5 minutes per contest.

Dallas hosts Golden State on 5-game home slide

Doesn't practice Sunday Ogunbowale did not participate in Sunday's practice due to an illness, Grant Afseth of DallasHoopsJournal.com reports.
Impact The illness is a new concern for Ogunbowale, who has yet to miss a game this season. The star guard can be considered questionable ahead of Tuesday's matchup versus Golden State until the Wings provide another update on her status. Ogunbowale has averaged 15.6 points, 5.0 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 1.0 steals across 34.8 minutes per game in her last five outings. If she's unable to suit up Tuesday, Aziaha James, Kaila Charles and JJ Quinerly are candidates for a bump in minutes.
JUNE 15 • ROTOWIRE
Scores team-high 26 points Ogunbowale finished with 26 points (9-17 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 5-5 FT), four rebounds, eight assists and two steals across 38 minutes in Friday's 88-84 loss to the Aces.
Impact Ogunbowale led the Wings in scoring and was the lone Dallas player who surpassed the 20-point plateau. Unfortunately for the team, another of her patented impressive scoring performances wasn't enough for a Wings team that crumbled down the stretch. This was Ogunbowale's fourth game with at least 20 points this season, and she should remain the team's biggest weapon on offense despite the team's overall struggles.

Struggles in road loss Ogunbowale finished with 10 points (2-10 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 6-6 FT) with four assists, two rebounds and one steal in 35 minutes in Wednesday's 93-80 loss against the Mercury.
Impact Not only was Ogunbowale not very effective from the field, but she turned it over four times while committing five personal fouls with game-worst minus-15 rating in her 35 minutes. She has had trouble stacking good games, averaging 10.0 points per game in three outings following performances with at least 21 points.

Dallas visits Phoenix following Ogunbowale's 26-point showing

Dallas visits the Phoenix Mercury after Arike Ogunbowale scored 26 points in the Wings' 81-65 loss to the Minnesota Lynx
JUNE 10 • Associated Press
Drops 26 points in loss Ogunbowale ended with 26 points (6-20 FG, 6-11 3Pt, 8-9 FT), five rebounds, six assists and two blocks across 40 minutes during Sunday's 81-65 loss to Minnesota.
Impact After posting a couple duds previously, Ogunbowale got back on the right track Sunday. The Wings dropped their fifth straight game, however, falling to 1-9 on the season. Ogunbowale's production has dropped considerably compared to 2024, as she's averaging 16.3 points and 4.0 assists while shooting 34.6 percent from the field.
