Done for season The Fever announced Friday that McDonald has been ruled out for the remainder of the 2025 campaign after being diagnosed with a broken bone in her right foot.

Impact McDonald was on a roll for Indiana, averaging 11.6 points, 5.2 assists, 2.7 rebounds and 1.4 steals in 28.0 minutes a night while starting the last nine games for the shorthanded Fever. Sydney Colson (knee) has also been ruled out for the campaign, joining Kristy Wallace (not injury related). Caitlin Clark (groin) remains without a return timetable, so Lexie Hull is a candidate for a major boost in minutes in the meantime. McDonald finishes the campaign with 20 appearances, including a career-high 13 starts.
