In his conversation with Skip Bayless and Joy Taylor, Shannon Sharpe reveals which NFL team is the best choice for Kirk Cousins. In recent reports Cousins is considering signing with Minnesota Vikings and New York Jets.

- Team will Cousins choose?

- Minnesota. Because Minnesota is the best option for him. Skip, they were in the NFC title game last year. Stefon Diggs, Adam Thielen, Kyle Rudolph, Dalvin Cook comes back. Defense, that's top one, top two-- at worst case scenario, they're no more than the third worst defense. They're probably the best defense in football. Let's go ahead and give them that.

SKIP BAYLESS: Well statistically, they finished number one.

- Right. So that's what you have to work with. And you play eight games indoors, you play Detroit indoors. You going to get a couple of bad weather games, depends on when you go to Chicago and Green Bay, but you know you've got at least nine games in ideal conditions. Skip, he said in January, is money a part of it? Sure. I'm glad he said that, because I hate when guys, oh, money-- you're lying. Stop lying.

He said, money, sure. It's not the only thing, it's about winning, and that's what I want more than anything. If Kirk Cousins truly wants to win a title, Minnesota affords him the best opportunity. With that being said, if Kirk Cousins goes to Minnesota, Skip, they're the second best team right now in the NFC, behind Philly.

And that's either with Nick Foles, now I believe, Carson Wentz is better. You do not, but I believe Carson is better. Now, how healthy he is at the start of the season, TBD. But we have a guy, they have a guy, Nick Foles that can carry the load until Carson gets 100% health.

But I believe Kirk Cousins will go to Minnesota because they afford him the best opportunity to win, and that's how he wants to be known. He says he wants to be known as the guy that contended and won championships. The Minnesota Vikings afford him that luxury. Now, the Jets can get you $100 million guaranteed-- fully guaranteed-- but you ain't winning jack. You know that, I know that, Skip. If Kirk--

SKIP BAYLESS: Wait, because the best quarterback in football's still in Foxboro?

- Skip, If Kirk Cousins-- first cousins-- if he were to go to the Jets, and they won a Super Bowl, Kirk Cousins would go down in the top five quarterback all time, if he did that for the Jets. But you and I both know that's not going to happen, so we ain't got to worry about that.

- So everything you just said makes 1,000% sense, except for Kirk Cousins. Because I agree with all your premise, except for Kirk Cousins. I'm going to say it one more time-- Kirk Cousins, to me, from a distance, is an under-confident over-achiever who knows his limitations to a fault. He's always trying to convince you how good he is.

You like that? Not really, but he went, Kirk Cousins did-- I'm going to say this one more time-- 1 in 6 against the archrival Dallas Cowboys. He went 0 for 4 against my Cowboys in his stadium. That's not very good. He was four games under 500 as the Redskins quarterback, and you can say, oh, they lost all their receivers and their offensive line was decimated-- I get all that. But it still wins and losses, says Shannon Sharpe.
