In a blockbuster trade deal, the Minnesota Timberwolves acquired Rudy Gobert from the Utah Jazz, giving up a lot in the process. A total of 5 players are now headed to Utah, Malik Beasley, Patrick Beverley, Jarred Vanderbilt, Leandro Bolmaro and 2022 first-round pick Walker Kessler. With that, the Jazz are also getting 4 first-round draft picks in the deal. Minnesota seems to be over the moon about getting Gobert, but Nick Wright tells Chris Broussard the price was too high.
