Impact Demopoulos enters the bout on her worst stretch with the UFC, currently on a three-fight losing streak. The strawweight is coming off a unanimous decision loss against Jamey-Lyn Horth last June. Her opponent, Jauregui, is returning to the Octagon for the first time since Sept. 2024 after losing to Ketlen Souza via submission. Demopoulos likely needs a bounce-back win to protect her spot on the UFC roster.

Demopoulous is tough and extremely gritty, but she lacks technical skills in pretty much all areas of the sport and she had absolutely no answers for Horth's five-inch height advantage. Every strike Vanessa landed was answered by two or more from her opponent, resulting in a lopsided unanimous decision defeat. Set to turn 37 years of age in September and a loser of three in a row, Demopoulous could be handed her walking papers shortly.

When the cage doors close, she'll be giving up five inches in height and seven inches in reach to her opponent, a natural flyweight. Horth is an even 2-2 in the UFC, with all four of her bouts going the distance.
