Picks up second straight win Gore defeated Vicente Luque via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28) at UFC 330 on Saturday in Philadelphia.

Impact Fresh off a surprising submission win over Azamat Bekoev in April, Gore put forth another strong effort in a pick'em fight here. Tresean has limited athletic ability, but he's strong at the point of attack and doesn't make mistakes inside the octagon. That's probably not going to be enough to defeat better competition at 185 pounds, but it was enough to get past late-career Luque in resounding fashion this evening. At age 32, Gore catches a lot of flack for his 7-4 career record, but he's clearly improving each time we see him.

Scheduled against Luque Gore will compete against fellow middleweight Vicente Luque at UFC 330 in Philadelphia on Aug. 15, according to Marcel Dorff of Heavy on Sports.

Impact Ideally for Gore, 2026 is his year in which he establishes himself as a legitimate contender in the UFC's middleweight division. For his next fight, he takes on a company mainstay best known for his stay in the welterweight division. Gore is coming off an upset over Azamat Bekoev, while the former's opponent most recently defeated Kelvin Gastelum.

Pulls huge upset in Vegas Gore defeated Azamat Bekoev via technical submission (guillotine choke) at 3:27 of Round 3 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.

Impact Gore entered having lost back-to-back fights and without a victory dating back to October 2022. It's a certainty he was fighting for his job here and very few people gave him a chance of pulling the upset as a +500 underdog. To Gore's credit, he put forth a potential career-saving performance. He was able to survive an early knockdown and aided by Bekoev quickly gassing out, turn the tables on his highly favored opponent. Gore upped the physicality and output late and Bekoev had zero answers. There's nothing in Tresean's background to suggest this performance will be the start of a prolonged winning streak, but it will ensure he gets another shot with the company.

Taking on Bekoev in Vegas Gore will face Azamat Bekoev at a UFC event in Las Vegas on April 4, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.

Impact Gore will head into the bout looking to bounce back from back-to-back defeats dating back to April. The 31-year-old American fighter will take a reach advantage into the fight compared to the younger Russian, though they measure identically in height. With an undefeated 3-0 professional record in submission finishes, Gore should look to use the ground game in this one, though Bekoev's submission game will certainly be a tough test (8-1 professional record in such finishes).

Impact The last 48 hours have been a disaster for Gore. He missed weight by a considerable amount (3.5 pounds), gave up 25 percent of his purse to his opponent and then went on to get dominated in all three rounds as a slight betting underdog. He did defend 13 of Vieira's 14 takedown defense, but didn't have an answer for him on the feet, especially in the latter two rounds. Gore has now came up empty in two trips to the Octagon in 2025, following a brief two-fight winning streak. Time may be running out for "Mr. Vicious."

Overweight for upcoming fight Gore missed the middleweight limit by 3.5 pounds for his scheduled fight against Rodolfo Vieira at UFC Vegas 108 on Saturday, according to MMA Junkie.

Impact For the first time in his UFC career, Gore has missed weight, resulting in 25 percent of his purse going to Vieira. The former is looking to bounce back after getting finished by Marco Tulio.

Impact Gore snapped a two-fight winning streak with a lopsided defeat to Marco Tulio in August, getting out-landed 127-to-17 in significant strikes before finally succumbing to the finish in Round 2. Viera also had a two-fight winning streak of his own snapped last February with a much closer decision loss to Andre Petroski. The striking and wrestling numbers, both offensively and defensively, lie in favor of Vieira here, though Gore will enter with a two-inch reach advantage. Both men stand at 6-0.

Obliterated by Marco Tulio Gore lost to Marco Tulio via TKO (punches) at 3:16 of Round 2 at UFC 314 on Saturday in Miami.

Impact Gore's skills are clearly limited, but he's stupidly tough and that was on display once again here. He managed to last more than eight minutes against the powerful Tulio despite the fact he spent nearly the entire time serving as a punching bag for his opponent. Gore ate literally dozens and dozens of shots that would have put away any mere mortal and continued to push forward. Referee Marc Goddard had finally seen enough late in Round 2. Gore has fought just five times since his February 2022 debut, going 2-3 in his first five bouts with the company.
