Forget Cris Cyborg. A fight between Ronda Rousey and Holly Holm would be the "biggest women’s match ever to take place."
That’s the opinion of Holm’s manager Lenny Fresquez, who wants to see his client in the UFC, but not at the expense of her wallet.
Holm (6-0), a former 18-time boxing world champion in three divisions, has not been offered a contract by the UFC, Fresquez said. But in preliminary talks, he and the UFC have not been on the same page.

"Why would she want to go fight for $9,000 or even $20,000 when she already makes $30,000 or $40,000 a fight?" Fresquez told Fox Sports.
Fresquez said that Holm, 32, has made into the six figures per year over the last six or seven years and that might not be possible in the UFC, at least initially. The longtime fight promoter said that she has a $250,000 offer for a boxing match on the table and still could take that. Holm is a huge draw in her hometown of Albuquerque, where she trains at Jackson’s MMA.
"She wants that UFC belt, but how much can she bend to say she wants it?" Fresquez said.
Holm has been impressive since starting MMA in 2011. She has knocked out all of her opponents until Friday night when she won a decision against Angela Hayes at an event in Albuquerque that Fresquez’s company promoted. But she has rarely been challenged on the ground, which of course she would be quickly by someone like Rousey, an Olympic medalist in judo.
"I’m not going to say she’s ready to fight Ronda Rousey," Fresquez said. "I think it would be dumb of us to say we want to fight Ronda Rousey our next fight."
No, Fresquez would prefer Holm fight someone like "Ultimate Fighter" winner Julianna Pena next. He wants the UFC to build Holm up until the championship fight with Rousey, which he believes would be legendary. It would be a clash of styles, Fresquez said - and not just in the Octagon either.
Our ultimate goal is to be UFC champion. We need to be in the UFC to do that.

"Holly is a preacher’s daughter," Fresquez said. "We don’t have that type of personality [like Rousey]. Maybe the UFC wouldn’t want to have nice people in there. I don’t mean no disrespect to Ronda. Holly is a very humble, quiet person."
Holm might be different than the "Rowdy" UFC champ in attitude, but the two have similarities. They both excelled in other sports and have done well quickly in MMA. They both also have blond hair, blue eyes and a look that has crossover appeal – they’re both attractive women.
There’s little doubt that Holm would be an asset to the UFC. She’s currently signed with Legacy, but has an out in her contract to let her jump for the big show if she comes to a deal with them.
It’s unclear when – or if - that will happen, though. Fresquez’s talks with the UFC are ongoing, but nothing seems imminent. He plans to announce Holm’s next opponent next week.
"I think we all would lose," Fresquez said, if Holm isn’t signed by the UFC. "That’s our ultimate goal. Our ultimate goal is to be UFC champion. We need to be in the UFC to do that."
