Fighting in Macau Tsuruya will face Jesus Aguilar in a flyweight bout at UFC Macau on May 30, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.

Impact Tsuruya is 1-1 in the UFC to begin his career. He's coming off a loss to Joshua Van via unanimous decision in March of 2025, but he also bested Carlos Hernandez to start his career in the promotion. Now, he'll face a more battle-tested fighter in Aguilar, who's 4-3 but is coming off a loss.

No longer fighting in August Tsuruya (undisclosed) will no longer fight Nyamjargal Tumendemberel in Shanghai during the Road to UFC Semi-Finals on Aug. 22, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.

Impact Due to unknown reasons, Tsuruya has dropped out of the August match. The Japanese flyweight will look to work back from whatever kept him from fighting, while Tumendemberel will now take on Terrance Saeteurn.

Will feature on Road to UFC Tsuruya will face Nyamjargal Tumendemberel in Shanghai during the Road to UFC Semi-Finals on Aug. 22, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.

Impact Even though UFC Shanghai will take place on Saturday, Aug. 23, this fight between Tsuruya and Tumendemberel will be the second bout with fighters who are already on the company roster. The first one is the matchup between Shi Ming and Bruna Brasil. Tsuruya has gone 1-1 in the UFC so far, but he has time on his side since he's only 23 years old.
