Drops decision in Miami Brown lost to Kevin Holland via unanimous decision (27-30, 27-30, 27-30) at UFC 327 on Saturday in Miami.

Impact Fresh off being knocked out by Gabriel Bonfim in his first UFC main event in November, Brown was in no position to get swept on the scorecards in what was essentially a pick 'em fight. He absorbed far too many leg kicks early on which hampered him the rest of the way. The highlight of Brown's evening was surviving a ridiculously deep choke attempt from Holland in Round 2. Of course, Brown appeared to completely gas himself out in the process, ensuring he had no chance of winning despite seeing the final bell. "Rude Boy" will be 36 years old in July and is 1-3 in his past four fights dating back to December 2024.

Fighting Holland in April Brown will fight Kevin Holland at UFC 327 on April 11, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.

Impact A poor showing caused Brown to lose to Gabriel Bonfim in November, but the former will have a chance to bounce back against Holland, who has lost each of his last two fights and six of his last nine. Brown will be giving up three inches of reach in the fight, however.

No-shows first UFC main event Brown lost to Gabriel Bonfim via KO (knee) at 1:40 of Round 2 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.

Impact Brown's first UFC main event was an unmitigated disaster. This is a guy who almost always gives a strong accounting every single time out, but he wasn't the least bit competitive here against Bonfim. The main reason why was the fact Brown appeared to have either no desire or no ability to check a leg kick. He ate a countless number of them early on and that put Bonfim in the driver's seat. The end came when Brown was obliterated with a knee to the face. He appeared to go out before awaking when hitting the mat, but referee Mark Smith immediately jumped in and didn't give him a chance to continue. This was probably Brown's one real opportunity to move up the ranks at 170 pounds and he wasn't able to take advantage.

Randy dominated the entirety of Round 1, breaking Dalby's nose with a crushing blow. Yet the latter kept coming. The fight turned into a wild brawl midway through Round 2 before Randy ended it for good with a massive right hand. Time is against Brown given he'll be 35 years old in July, but he's 4-1 in his last five fights and the lone defeat came against a quality opponent in Bryan Battle who missed weight for the fight. Brown is making a case for the top-15.
