Bests Sam Patterson via decision Page defeated Sam Patterson via unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in London.

Impact It ended up being a very boring fight between two guys with very similar skill sets. Page and Patterson combined to land 39 significant strikes in what was a 15-minute kickboxing match. 27 of those -- and the few notable blows there were -- came from the Page side, but that's about all there is to say about this one. The good news for MVP is that this was a fight in which he had nothing to gain and everything to lose in terms of the rankings and he got the job done. Page has been great since coming over from Bellator, going 4-1 in his first five UFC fights.

Impact Page will look to improve his winning streak to three. He stopped Shara Magomedov's hype train in early-2025 and capped off the year by outlasting former UFC Middleweight Championship challenger Jared Cannonier. For the London graphic, it says Page is fighting welterweight mainstay Patterson in the latter's division, meaning MVP will go down a weight class for UFC London.

Impact Page worked his game to perfection Saturday, potshotting and frustrating Cannonier for the majority of the fight. Things got a bit more interesting when a slip from "MVP" allowed Cannonier to take top position in Round 3, but he was unable to find a finish. Page fights can get a bit tedious, but that's to his credit, as he presents such danger and is so solid with his defense that opponents don't often get much done. It's difficult to see where Page goes from here, as he hinted after the fight that he has plans to go back down to welterweight. Wherever he ends up, you can bet that Page will be making life miserable for any fighter who is unable to impose their will. He moves to 24-3-0 in professional MMA as a result of the victory
