Impact At 6'5, Francischinelli stands tall over most heavyweights, and he put that length to use to earn his contract, uncorking a straight right-hand counter shot to send his opponent into the fetal position. Rentz tried to wrestle initially, but Francischinelli was able to force a leg entanglement and get back to his feet. "Iron" got too comfortable on his feet thereafter, which saw him run into Francischinelli's signpost of a fist as he tried to close distance. We've seen our share of tall athletes in the UFC, but the aggression and diversity of skill that Francischinelli possesses make him more than a curiosity as he enters the welterweight division.
