UFC fighters say they're honored to compete in front of President Trump on card at the White House
UFC heavyweight Josh Hokit is embracing his bold style ahead of the company's debut at the White House

Set for UFC Freedom 250
Daukaus will take on Bo Nickal in a middleweight matchup at the UFC White House card scheduled for June 14.
Impact
Daukaus withdrew from a scheduled UFC 327 matchup against Vicente Luque in late-February due to undisclosed reasons, though this opportunity may have had something to do with it. He enters on a two-fight winning streak, going up against an opponent who is 5-1 under the UFC banner. Nickal is best known for his wrestling, and while Daukaus sports a respectable 82 percent takedown defense, he hasn't faced a wrestler of Nickal's pedigree. If he's unable to keep this standing and exploit the holes in Nickal's striking game, he could be in for a long night at the office. It likely explains why he's opened as the betting underdog.

Out of UFC 327
Daukaus has withdrawn from his scheduled fight against Vicente Luque at UFC 327, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
Impact
It's unknown why Daukaus pulled out of the fight, but he will now have to wait a bit longer for his next chance at collecting his third straight win since returning to the UFC in August. In the meantime, Kelvin Gastelum will step in to fight Luque instead.

Booked for UFC 327
Daukaus will fight Vicente Luque at UFC 327 on April 11, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
Impact
Daukaus has captured two swift victories since returning to the UFC in August. His next test will come in the form of Luque, who has significantly more experience but has lost both of his last two fights and five of his last seven.

Another instant stoppage win
Daukaus defeated Gerald Meerschaert via submission (brabo choke) at 0:50 of Round 1 at UFC 322 on Saturday in New York City.
Impact
Too easy. Facing an opponent unable to defend himself on the feet, Daukaus was able to turn two huge strikes into a knockdown just seconds into the fight. From there, he brilliantly clamped on one of his signature chokes which closed the show. A win over Meerschaert means less than nothing in the grand scheme of things here at the end of 2025, but Daukaus once again showed that he probably never should have been cut from the UFC about three years ago. He's won six straight since, including back-to-back first-round stoppage victories since returning to the company in August.

Logs upset KO and bonus
Daukaus defeated Michel Pereira via KO (punches and elbows) at 0:43 of Round 1 at UFC Shanghai on Saturday.
Impact
Daukaus announced his return to the UFC in triumphant fashion, showing that the gains made on the regional circuit between stints were indeed legitimate. An aggressive Pereira rushed him early on, but Daukaus clipped him with a short right hook that sent him to the canvas. He pounced and finished the job with some brutal elbows that put his opponent out cold before referee Marc Goddard could rush in. The finish would go on to earn him one of four $50,000 Performance of the Night bonuses awarded on the evening. Perhaps the 32-year-old is here to stay this time around.

Set for UFC return as replacement
Daukaus will face Michel Pereira at UFC Shanghai on Aug. 23 as the replacement of Marco Tulio (undisclosed), Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
Impact
Daukaus was removed from the UFC roster in Jan. 2023, but he's worked his way back and went 5-1 in minor promotions to secure a spot on the UFC roster once again. He went 2-4 with one NC in his previous UFC stint, though he hasn't stepped in an octagon in the promotion since losing to Eryk Anders on Dec. 3, 2022.
