Impact Luiz was originally scheduled to make his UFC debut in late June against Jhonata Diniz. He was forced to withdraw and Sutherland stepped in with the fight getting pushed back about six weeks. It ended up being worth the wait for the Brazilian, who dispatched Louie without issue as a +190 underdog. Known for his slick ground game, Luiz landed an easy takedown before flattening Sutherland out and grabbing his neck. Five of Luiz's seven career wins have come via submission.
