Misses weight, fight still on Stephens and King Green will log a catchweight fight at UFC 238 in Newark on Saturday, according to Jose Youngs of MMA Fighting.
Impact Stephens missed the UFC's lightweight limit by four pounds, his first weight miss since 2018. He will forfeit 30 percent of his purse to Green in what will be a fight between two promotion veterans.

Impact Stephens will be returning to the UFC octagon for just the second time since 2021. He fought last May after a multi-year absence and was defeated via unanimous decision. Green comes in winning his last two fights. They are two of the most experienced fighters in the UFC, which should make for an entertaining match.

Impact Now 38 years old and competing in his hometown, Stephens returned to the UFC for the first time since July 2021. He was the biggest underdog on the card at +455, and although he landed his fair share of damaging blows, Jeremy's inability to defend the takedown was his ultimate undoing. He allowed Jones to drag him to the mat on eight separate occasions. It's tough to win a three-round decision that way. It's hard to know what's next for Stephens. He's obviously getting up there in age and there was no talk of him returning to the company prior to the announcement of this fight.
