Taking on Kaue Fernandes Turner will take on Kaue Fernandes in a lightweight bout at UFC 330 on Aug. 15, Marcel Dorff of Heavy on Sports reports.

Impact Turner bounced back with an easy win over Edson Barboza in Dec. 2025 in his most recent fight. However, he had gone 1-4 in his previous five fights, so he still has ground to make up to erase his previous negative run. He'll be facing an opponent who's also coming off a win in Fernandes. Turner 31 years old, and a win here could allow him to position himself better in the lightweight division.

Rolls through Edson Barboza Turner defeated Edson Barboza via TKO (punches) at 2:24 of Round 1 at UFC 323 on Saturday in Las Vegas.

Impact Turner announced his retirement following a first-round submission loss to Ignacio Bahamondes in March. He decided to return here and was given a layup in a matchup against an aging former big name in Barboza and took full advantage. Turner simply remained aggressive throughout the entire brief bout and that ended up being more than enough to get Barboza out of there in short order. In fact, referee Herb Dean could have stopped the proceedings a handful of seconds earlier and no one would have batted an eye. Jalin is still just 30 years old and he has multiple ways to win, so retirement at never made any sense at this stage.
