Pulls out of bout Wiklacz is no longer fighting Marcus McGee at UFC Vegas 118 on June 6, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.

Impact It's unclear why he's been forced to pull out, but Wiklacz will withdraw from his fight and won't get a chance to 2-0 UFC record quite yet. McGee will now take on John Yannis, who steps in on short notice.

Impact The difficulty of a Wiklacz fight increases with his next bout against McGhee. While the latter lost his last match, it was a relatively close scrap with UFC Bantamweight Champion Petr Yan. By defeating McGhee, Wiklacz can not only know where he is in terms of the bantamweight level but also make a better case for a future championship fight.

Last second submission victory Wiklacz defeated Muin Gafurov via submission (guillotine choke) at 4:59 of Round 3 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.

Impact The miracle, last second stoppage seemed a heck of a lot more interesting when the result appeared to be in legitimate doubt. In the end, Wiklacz was going to win a decision regardless. Facing an opponent that came in five pounds heavy, Wiklacz got off to a slow start, which wasn't surprising given his opponent's weight advantage. Gafurov predictably slowed as the fight progressed and Wiklacz was there to pick up the pieces. An exhausted Gafurov shot for a pointless takedown with under a minute left, allowing Jakub to eventually earn the choke with just a second remaining. And former KSW standout and one of the best fighters on the European regional scene for years prior to his UFC arrival, Wiklacz is now 2-0 with the company, with wins over Gafurov and Patchy Mix.

Catchweight fight for UFC Vegas 113 Wiklacz is scheduled to compete against Muin Gafurov in a catchweight fight at UFC Vegas 113 on Saturday, MMA Junkie reports.

Impact Wiklacz made weight, but Gafurov did not, missing the UFC's bantamweight limit by five pounds. For their fight to continue, the former accepted catchweight conditions and 25 percent of his opponent's purse regardless of result. Wiklacz's aim remains steadfast, going 2-0 in the UFC by defeating Gafurov on Saturday.

Scheduled against Gafurov Wiklacz is scheduled to compete against fellow bantamweight Muin Gafurov at UFC Fight Night 256 in Las Vegas on Feb. 7, MMAJunkie.com reports.

Impact The former KSW Bantamweight Champion, Wiklacz had his moments as a big (+275) underdog in his UFC debut. Of course, the vast majority of people that watched this fight would likely have scored it for Mix. Wiklacz struggled with the grappling game of Patchy, allowing five takedowns. His go-to move was to jump on a guillotine choke. Wiklacz also won the total strike battle by a 46-37 count, although neither man could pull ahead on the feet. It was a competent showing for the 29-year-old in a big step up in competition, but Wiklacz's long-term ceiling figures to be severely hampered by his lack of power. He doesn't have a knockout win in his professional career.
