Impact It's the first professional loss of Baraniewski's career. Not coincidentally, it was also the first time in his career he had a fight get out of Round 1. We finally got the answer regarding Iwo's cardio and it wasn't great. He didn't completely drop off a cliff like Robelis Despaigne and Tai Tuivasa earlier in the evening, but he definitely slowed considerably as the bout progressed, with Menifield the one pushing the pace late despite a mangled thumb. Baraniewski is 27 years old and hits like a tank, so he'll be fine, just don't expect too many decisions victories in his future.

Taking on Menifield at UFC 331 Baraniewski will face Alonzo Menifield in a light heavyweight bout at UFC 331 on Sep. 13, Marcel Dorff of Heavy on Sports reports.

Impact Baraniewski is known as a massive puncher and pure brawler, but he'll face a tough opponent in Menifield, a 38-year-old veteran who's coming off a TKO win over Zhang Mingyang while winning three of his last four bouts. As for Baraniewski, he's undefeated as a pro fighter with a 9-0-0 mark including his fight in Dana White's Contender Series, and each of those fights has ended via first-round stoppage (seven KOs, two submissions).

Another instant victory Baraniewski defeated Junior Tafa via TKO (strikes) at 1:25 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.

Impact Known as a massive power puncher and pure brawler, Baraniewski mixed things up a bit here, leaning on a pair of brutal leg kicks to put Tafa away. The first one did some damage, but it was the second one, to the same spot, which essentially ended things in an instant. Tafa went sprawling to the mat unable to defend himself and Iwo jumped on top and unloaded until the fight got called off. Counting his fight on Dana White's Contender Series, Baraniewski has had nine professional fights. Each one has ended via first-round stoppage (seven knockouts, two submissions).

New opponent scheduled Baranewski will fight fellow light heavyweight Junior Tafa at UFC Vegas 118 on June 6, according to Marcel Dorff of Heavy on Sports.

Impact Initially, UFC Vegas 118 included Billy Elekana (undisclosed) against Tafa. It looks like the former is unavailable, so in his place is Tafa, who logged a win earlier in May. Nonetheless, Baraniewski has positive momentum and will look to remain undefeated against a game Tafa in June.

Next fight scheduled Baraniewski is scheduled to fight fellow light heavyweight Billy Elekana at UFC Vegas 118 on June 6, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.

Impact In the UFC, Baraniewski will look to improve his record to 3-0 by defeating Elekana. The former's two wins include him knocking out both Ibo Aslan and Austen Lane with a fury of punches. Baraniewski's next opponent has yet to be KO'd but has two losses.

Impact Baraniewski was involved in an 89-second war against Ibo Aslan in December before emerging victorious. He got the job done much quicker here against Lane. Facing a 38-year-old opponent that was moving down to 205 pounds for the first time in his career, Iwo fired off a two-shot combination which found the mark and put Lane away in an instant. It's not going to be that easy every time out, but Baraniewski's power is clearly legitimate. He's a perfect 8-0 as a professional, with all eight wins coming via first-round stoppage.

To fight Lane in London Baraniewski is scheduled to compete against Austen Lane in a light heavyweight fight at UFC London on March 21, per Nolan King of MMA Junkie.

Impact Baraniewski will look to go 2-0 in his first two UFC fights by getting win No. 2 against Lane. The former got his first win with knockout punches in Round 1 of his bout with Ibo Aslan at UFC 323.

Impact It took until December, but we finally have our Round of the Year winner. This was the craziest fight you will ever see for about 90 seconds. The two men combined to land three knockdowns, with Baraniewski picking up two and Aslan won. Yes, Iwo won the fight and showed plenty of toughness in doing so, but the truth of the matter is a bout like this is a pure coin flip. Baraniewski appeared finished on multiple occasions and only a wild right hook and Aslan's complete disregard for defense ending up saving him. He's going to have to be a lot more technical his next time out if he hopes to continue his winning ways.

Impact Baraniewski needed just one punch to secure a contract during his Contender Series victory over Mahamed Aly, and he'll now put his perfect 6-0 record on the line during his first UFC bout. The 26-year-old will certainly have momentum on his side against Aslan, who remains winless after two fights this year.

The Polish fighter actually has more knockouts (4) than submissions (2) in his professional MMA career, but his grappling background should give him a leg up at light heavyweight. He moves to 6-0-0 as a result of the victory.
