Impact Cavalcanti threw hammers at his opponent early, coming forward with wild punches in an attempt to get the upper hand. Ravello was doing well to dodge the worst of it initially, but he threw a naked kick that allowed a hard right hand to find his chin. Cavalcanti began a layered finishing sequence thereafter, complete with trips and elbows. While there is no denying his power or creativity, it must be noted that the Brazilian has never won a fight outside of the first round. His ability to generate offense is undeniable, but "Jacare" will need to get comfortable in extended fights if he wants to advance at the highest level.
