Falls off UFC 329 Ewing is injured and out of his scheduled UFC 329 fight on July 11 in Las Vegas, Damon Martin of MMAFighting.com reports.

Impact The 28-year-old Ewing is a perfect 2-0 with the UFC and was set to take on the undefeated Farad Basharat on the prelims of UFC 329, set to take place in less than two weeks. No word on the specifics of the injury have been disclosed, and the UFC will likely look for a short-notice replacement fighter for Basharat.

Added to June APEX card Ewing will take on Farid Basharat in a bantamweight matchup at UFC Vegas 119 on June 20, Marcel Dorff of Heavy On Sports reports.

Impact Ewing has faced his fair share of challenges since entering the UFC in late-2025. He came in on two days' notice to upset Malcolm Wellmaker in his debut, then knocked out a heavy Rafael Estevam this past April (as an underdog yet again). His reward? A matchup against an undefeated prospect who has already racked up six UFC wins. Basharat is a high-volume striker and excellent wrestler, so look for Ewing to once again enter as the underdog.

Impact It will go down as by far the most lucrative evening of Ewing's professional career. Not only will he pick up his show and win purses, but he will also walk away with 20 percent of Estevam's dues after the latter missed weight by half a pound on Friday morning. A post-fight bonus is likely coming Ewing's way, as well. He deserves it. Ewing employed the exact blue print to defeating Estevam. That being shutting down takedown attempts and pressuring him on the feet. Ewing was signed as a late-notice replacement for a November fight against Malcolm Wellmaker. He won that one via unanimous decision before routing Estevam here. The UFC may have found gold with the 28-year-old California native.

Catchweight fight with Estevam Ewing will compete against Rafael Estevam in a catchweight fight Saturday for UFC Vegas 115, according to MMA Junkie.

Impact Ewing's opponent has a history of weight misses, and that was once again the case Friday. Ewing has accepted a continuation of their bout and will receive 20 percent of Estevam's purse.

Wins on 48 hours' notice Ewing defeated Malcolm Wellmaker via unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC 322 on Saturday in New York City.

Impact Ewing accepted this fight 48 hours ago following the withdrawal of Cody Haddon (foot). He was asleep at the time and said he had about 40 missed calls and then drove all around Los Angeles to get his medicals in order. He flew across the country and then set about picking Wellmaker apart as a +400 underdog. Ewing stayed aggressive the entire way, getting in Malcolm's face and making him work. He was also the much better conditioned athlete, which perhaps shouldn't come as much of a surprise considering he fought last week, winning via knockout in just over four minutes. Ewing earned a top of fans with this performance and we should see him back in the octagon in short order.
