Impact Stoltzfus' last match was against Kelvin Gastelum last September, and he lost via unanimous decision. The 34-year-old desperately needs a win against the younger Abdul-Malik, or he could potentially lose his roster spot. He's 3-7 in 10 UFC fights, with his last win coming in 2024.

If that's indeed the case, Gastelum will be ineligible due to the weight miss, so Dustin would walk away with the full amount. Impact Stoltzfus is ridiculously tough and has proven time and time again he's willing to stand in there and mix it up against anyone, even a stone-cold killer like Ruziboev. Dustin absorbed far too many big blows on the feet and was consistently outmuscled at the point of attack, but that didn't stop him from landing a pair of takedowns and threatening with a couple deep submission attempts. Neither ended up materializing, but this was a closer and more competitive fight than the scorecards would lead you to believe. Stoltzfus is a valued member of the UFC roster, but at age 33 and having alternated wins and losses in his past seven fights, he isn't any sort of contender.
