Picks up debut win Freeman defeated Marek Bujlo via unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC Qatar on Saturday. Impact Freeman stepped in on relatively short notice for Jose Luiz to make his UFC debut overseas, and the results were positive for the 33-year-old. However, neither man was really able to get much going in this fight, as even Freeman landed only 49 significant strikes in the 15-minute affair. He was almost in some hot water after he gave up position due to a slip in Round 3, but he was able to bounce back to his feet, and the transition led to him landing a strong left hand, his best of the fight. While Freeman got the win, his body of work (or lack thereof) suggests he won't be much more than heavyweight roster depth.
