Finished by Benoit Saint-Denis Hooker lost to Benoit Saint-Denis via TKO (strikes) at 4:45 of Round 2 at UFC 325 on Saturday in Sydney, Australia.

Impact It was another case of Hooker showing off his toughness, but once against coming up short in a key spot. Granted, it came as a +310 underdog, so it shouldn't come as most of a shock. Hooker had a solid opening round. He landed some big shots on the feet and by and large, avoided the massive damage from Saint-Denis that eventually came his way in Round 2. Once the roof caved in, it caved in in a major way. Hooker spent multiple minutes of the second frame fighting off an arm triangle choke. He was eventually mounted and finished with unanswered shots to the side of the head despite being given every chance to continue by referee Herb Dean. If anything, the fight could have been stopped a handful of seconds earlier. "The Hangman" has lost back-to-back fights (Saint-Denis, Arman Tsarukyan) in the span of about two months. Hooker is more of an attraction than legitimate contender at 155 pounds.
