Fades following fast start Lee lost to Timothy Cuamba via unanimous decision (28-29, 28-29, 28-29) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
Impact This was simply a case of Lee starting quickly and being unable to keep the pace he set in the early going. In Round 1 alone, Lee landed two takedowns, racked up 4:52 of control time, and was credited with a 49-2 edge in total strikes landed. It was largely downhill from there. Cuamba slowly worked his way back into the fight and by the time Round 3 rolled around, Lee was clearly exhausted and it was obviously there was no way he would be winning a decision. It's the first loss with the UFC for the 31-year-old South Korean, so his roster spot is secure.

Taking on Cuamba Lee will face Timothy Cuamba in a bantamweight bout at UFC Vegas 110 on November 1, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
Impact Lee will get his third crack at a UFC bout and his third chance for a win -- the fighter is a perfect 2-0 to start his career in the promotion and hasn't lost a professional bout since 2022. His opponent Cuamba, meanwhile, just picked up his first win with the UFC after losing his first two bouts.
AUGUST 26 • ROTOWIRE
Easily handles heavy opponent Lee defeated Cortavious Romious via TKO (strikes) at 3:48 of Round 2 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
Impact It's certain to go down as the most lucrative evening of Lee's career. Not only will he be walking away with his show and win money, but he'll also leave with a portion of Romious' purse after the latter missed weight by 3.5 pounds on Friday morning. Lee had the better of the action the entire time, landing the more significant blows and managing to reverse position after allowing a pair of takedowns. The finish could have come a good 30 seconds earlier, but referee Chris Tognoni decided to let Romious absorb a ton of unnecessary damage before pulling the plug. Lee looks like the brightest UFC prospect from Korea in quite some time.

Opponent misses weight Ho Lee's opponent, Cortavious Romious, missed weight by 3.5 pounds ahead of the bantamweight bout at UFC Vegas 105, per MMAFighting.com.
Impact It's currently unclear if this fight will proceed as scheduled. If it does, considering Romious checked in at 139.5 pounds, a hefty 3.5 pounds over the limit, Ho Lee should earn a substantial amount of his opponent's purse before the fight even begins. At the moment, however, there's no current word on the fight's status.
