Impact Rakic has fallen on hard times since starting his UFC career 6-1. He's since lost four straight bouts, and is teetering on a .500 record as he looks to finally get back on the winning side of the Octagon against Tybura. Rakic hasn't won since 2021, when he bested Thiago Santos via unanimous decision.

Struggles continue in Abu Dhabi Rakic lost to Azamat Murzakanov via TKO (punches) at 3:11 of Round 1 at UFC 321 on Saturday in Abu Dhabi.

Impact That's Rakic's fourth straight loss, including three via knockout, and it should all but eliminate him from any bouts with future title implications moving forward. Rakic looked strong early on, moving well and seeing everything Murzakanov was sending his way. It was at that point he got clipped with a short right jab which dropped him on the spot. A few follow-up shots and Rakic was done for good. At 33 years old and with his durability clearly trending in the wrong direction, there's a non-zero chance Rakic could be looking at a release.

Next bout scheduled Rakic will face Azamat Murzakanov in a light heavyweight bout at UFC 321 in Abu Dhabi on Oct. 25, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.

Impact Rakic is in desperate need of a win as a loser of three straight. Most recently, he fell to Magomed Ankalaev via unanimous decision back in October. After a 6-1 start in the UFC, he's now sitting at a perilous 6-4 and hasn't won a fight with the promotion since March of 2021. All things considered, this is a huge fight for Rakic.
