Impact Korda followed up the biggest win of his life in the previous round with a disappointing loss as he fell short against the No. 151-ranked Spaniard in three sets after two hours and 27 minutes on court. The No. 32 seed from the United States posted the loss despite winning three more points than Landaluce in the contest. Korda seemed to be bothered by an injury in the third set, which unfortunately has been a recurring theme for him.

The 25-year-old American improves to 12-5 so far this season. Korda will play either No. 14 seed Karen Khachanov (3-3 H2H) or Martin Landaluce in the fourth round.
