Brittany Rayburn had 13 points and five assists to help No. 15 Purdue beat Chicago State 76-49 on Tuesday night.

K.K. Houser added 11 points, seven assists and five steals, while Sam Ostarello had eight points, seven rebounds, five assists and three steals for the Boilermakers (4-0) in their final tuneup before their trip to Cancun, Mexico.

Twelve players scored for Purdue, which shot 57 percent from the field and made 6 of 12 3-pointers.

The Boilermakers forced 28 turnovers to offset 23 of their own.

Janay Dockery scored 12 points and Natalie Marlowe added 10 points and six assists for Chicago State (0-5), which has lost all of its games by at least 22 points.

Purdue won exactly one year after Drey Mingo went down with bacterial meningitis. Her illness caused Purdue to stay home from Cancun last year.

Purdue's constant has been its defense. Chicago State shot 35 percent after Purdue held its first three opponents under 30 percent. The Boilermakers have allowed 46.5 points per contest.

The Boilermakers ran out to a 14-1 lead and didn't allow a field goal for nearly seven minutes to start the game. Chicago State played better the rest of the half, but trailed 40-25 at the break. Eight Purdue players scored in the first half, but none scored more than six points. The Boilermakers forced 16 turnovers in the first half.

Purdue led 44-29 before two buckets by Rayburn and one by Houser pushed the lead to 21 points three minutes into the second half. A shot by Chantel Poston doubled the score at 66-33 with just under 10 minutes to play.
