Young featherweights Holloway, Fili meet at UFC 172 in April
Two of the youngest fighters in the UFC will square off at UFC 172.
Max Holloway and Andre Fili will meet in a featherweight bout April 26 in Baltimore. Fili is 23 and he's the elder statesmen in the contest. Holloway is just 22.
Holloway (8-3) is coming off an impressive second-round TKO win over Will Chope earlier this month in Singapore. Before that, he dropped two in a row to contenders Conor McGregor and Dennis Bermudez. Despite his youth, he's 4-3 in the UFC. He remains a top prospect at 145.
Fili (13-1), who fights out of Team Alpha Male, won his first UFC bout in October, a second-round TKO over Jeremy Larsen at UFC 166. In total, he's won nine straight fights, six of them by finish. Fili hasn't lost a fight in more than three years.
UFC 172 is headlined by a light heavyweight title fight between Jon Jones and Glover Teixeira.
