Will Brooks makes UFC debut against Ross Pearson at TUF 23 Finale

Highly touted prospect Will Brooks has signed with the UFC and will make his debut at "The Ultimate Fighter" 23 finale where he'll face Ross Pearson.
Sources close to the contest confirmed the bout to FOX Sports on Wednesday with bout agreements issued for the new lightweight matchup. MMAJunkie also reported the news on Wednesday after confirming the fight with UFC officials.
UFC officials later confirmed that Brooks has signed a multi-fight deal with the promotion with his debut coming on July 8.
Brooks has been a coveted free agent since his previous stint with Bellator Fighting Championships came to an end recently after he was the lightweight champion in the promotion.

A member of American Top Team in Florida, Brooks is currently riding a nine-fight win streak while becoming one of the most talked about lightweights outside of the UFC. Now he'll make his Octagon debut against a veteran in Pearson in July.
Pearson was originally expected to face James Krause on the card, but he was forced off the card for undisclosed reasons.
Now Pearson takes on Brooks in his UFC debut as part of "The Ultimate Fighter" finale taking place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on July 8.
UFC strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejcyzk will face Claudia Gadelha in the main event as well as the finals from the latest season of "The Ultimate Fighter" with a new champion being crowned at the light heavyweight and strawweight divisions.
