UFC: TUF 24 Finale Salaries, Johnson Earns 350k, Benavidez 140k
For Demetrious Johnson it pays to be the longtime champion in the UFC both in salary and Reebok sponsorship earnings.
The UFC flyweight champion defended his title against Tim Elliot on Saturday at The Ultimate Fighter 24 Finale event in Las Vegas. Johnson earned a disclosed $350,000 in fight earnings and $40,000 from Reebok for a total pay-day of $390,000.
Elliot meanwhile earned $100,000 for the fight and $30,000 from Reebok totaling $130,000 pay-day for the TUF 24 winner.
In the co-main event UFC flyweight Joseph Benavidez earned $140,000 for defeating Henry Cejudo via decision. Benavidez also took home $20,000 from Reebok while Cejudo earned $50,000 for the fight and $5,000 from the sponsorship.

The odd ending for the welterweight bout between Jorge Masvidal and Jake Ellenberger earned both men a good amount in earnings. Masvidal took home $120,000 in fight earnings and $10,000 in Reebok sponsorship money for his TKO win over Ellenberger who earned $78,000 in show money and $15,000 from Reebok.
This event earned the highest amount in Reebok sponsorship money of all the Fight Night cards.
Bonuses of $50,000 went to Jared Cannonier, Ion Cutelaba, Sara McMann and Anthony Smith.
