UFC: Georges St. Pierre Responds to Michael Bisping

It did not take long for UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping to get a response to his plea for a fight with Georges St. Pierre.
Bisping had taken to twitter asking GSP to “be a hero” and agree to fight him at UFC 206. On Wednesday, GSP took to Facebook to respond to Bisping’s challenge.
St. Pierre was responding to a tweet that Bisping sent out on Tuesday.
Unfortunately, St. Pierre revealed that contract negotiations have still not progressed in his response video.
@GeorgesStPierre, we all want more money. But let's go,sign the papers.Give the people of Toronto what they want, be a hero! Let's go champ!

Whether or not the matchup would even be entertained by the promotion is unknown (according to Bisping it was offered) but it likely won’t come before they settle their own dispute with the former welterweight champion.
St Pierre appeared on “The MMA Hour” on October17 and claimed that he was a free agent.
“You heard it right. I’m a free agent,” St Pierre told Ariel Helwani.
ZUFFA came out a short time later and confirmed that St Pierre was still under contract. The dispute has not been settled so a bout at UFC 206 is very unlikely.
Bisping is coming off a decision victory over MMA legend Dan Henderson in September to retain his title. Rumors of a fight against St Pierre were fueled by his tweet but he has also been connected to bouts with other fighters including Nick Diaz who has not fought since January 2015.
Diaz tested positive for marijuana and was suspended for 5 years, a suspension which was reduced after a settlement with the Nevada State Athletic Commission was reached.
GSP meanwhile has not fought since 2013 when he earned a split-decision win over Johny Hendricks. As of this post no fight has been set for either Michael Bisping or Georges St. Pierre at UFC 206.
