UFC champion Cody Garbrandt 'taps out' in ‘uncomfortable’ new TV commercial

UFC bantamweight champion hasn’t lost a fight in his professional fighting career but that didn’t stop him from tapping out in a new TV commercial for insurance company GEICO’s “It’s what you do” ad campaign.

The UFC posted the commercial on Monday, showing Garbrandt dealing with the awkwardness of meeting the family of a significant other. Check it out for yourself.

Garbrandt will surely see his star rise in 2017 after winning the title in late 2016. In addition to the new exposure in the GEICO commercial, the 25-year-old champion also just wrapped up filming for the 25th season of "The Ultimate Fighter," which airs on FS1 starting this April.

Fans are likely in store for a lot more Cody Garbrandt on their television screens over the next few months. But, hey, when you’re UFC champion, it’s what you do.
