UFC 181: Hendricks vs. Lawler 2 viewing and schedule guide

Published Nov. 28, 2014 3:52 a.m. ET

It's a rare treat to have two title fights on the same card and UFC 181 will deliver with the welterweight and lightweight belts up for grabs in the main event and co-main event from Las Vegas on December 6.

Johny Hendricks will return from a long layoff due to surgery to face Robbie Lawler, the man he beat in an instant classic this past March to win the welterweight title. Lawler has gone on a tear since losing to Hendricks picking up back-to-back victories over Jake Ellenberger and Matt Brown.

Now he's ready for another crack at the belt.

The co-main event pits the two coaches from this season of The Ultimate Fighter against each other as lightweight champion Anthony Pettis puts his belt on the line against former Strikeforce champion Gilbert Melendez.

If that wasn't enough, names like Travis Browne, Urijah Faber and both winners from season 19 of The Ultimate Fighter will decorate the undercard.
