Conor McGregor, Nate Diaz engage in intense stare down ahead of UFC 202
The last time Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz fought each other in March, a brawl nearly broke out on stage at the customary pre-fight news conference.
On Thursday, McGregor and Diaz came face-to-face for the first time since their rematch for UFC 202 on Aug. 20 was announced, but things didn't get quite so volatile.
The two fighters answered questions for about 30 minutes before UFC president Dana White had them face off on stage as he made sure to stand in between McGregor and Diaz to make sure nothing crazy happened.
McGregor jawed at his opponent as he continued to press forward while UFC president Dana White stayed in between the fighters.
In response, Diaz unleashed a couple of words toward his opponent as he put his fists up in front of McGregor's face.
Considering security had to rush the stage the last time McGregor and Diaz faced off at a pre-fight news conference, this rematch was subdued by all comparisons.
