Heavy meta: Maria Sharapova sits behind guy reading about Maria Sharapova

Maria Sharapova had a very meta moment on an airplane during a recent flight. 

The 27-year-old tennis star snapped a picture of a passenger in the row ahead of her -- who just happened to be reading a newspaper article about Sharapova herself (presumably about her third-round upset at the Wuhan Open). 

Here's what she posted on her Twitter account: 

There's a lot to glean from this photo. First, the No. 4 player in the world apparently flies coach (tennis pros -- they're just like us!). Second, she has no problem reading over people's shoulders (maybe it's that 6-foot-2 height clearance). Third, we should always pay attention to the people around us, because you never know if a five-time Grand Slam singles title winner is seated one row down. 

No word on whether or not the guy ever made the connection.
