2 NY entries in World TeamTennis consolidating

The two New York-based teams in the World TeamTennis Pro League are merging.

The New York Buzz no longer will be in the league. The New York Sportimes will play two of their home matches at the Buzz's old site in Albany. The Sportimes' other five home matches will be at Randall's Island.

The Buzz participated in the WTT Pro League from 1995-2010.

The league's marquee player draft is Tuesday. The regular season is July 4-21.
