The Russian football federation has handed Zenit St. Petersburg a 3-0 technical defeat for a game suspended after Dynamo Moscow's goalkeeper was injured by fireworks thrown from the Zenit supporters section.

The federation's disciplinary committee says Zenit has also been fined 1.13 million rubles ($35,300) and ordered to play its next two Russian league matches without spectators.

Dynamo goalkeeper Anton Shunin burned his cornea after a flare was thrown onto the field in Saturday's match. The game was played at Khimki Stadium just outside Moscow.
