Wolves closer to EPL drop after 3-2 loss to Bolton

Wolverhampton Wanderers moved closer to relegation with its seventh straight English Premier League defeat at home after losing 3-2 to Bolton Wanderers on Saturday.

Bottom-placed Wolves dominated the first half at Molineux and broke the deadlock after the interval through Michael Kightly's goal in the 53rd minute before Bolton took control.

Martin Petrov converted a penalty in the 63rd, followed by goals from Marcos Alonso in the 80th and Kevin Davies in the 84th.

Matt Jarvis scored for Wolves two minutes from time.

Wolves is six points adrift of Wigan, QPR and Blackburn, and seven behind Bolton.
