New West Bromwich Albion coach Steve Clarke has made Ben Foster his first signing for the Premier League club.
West Brom says the 29-year-old goalkeeper joined on a three-year contract with a possible two-year extension.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Clarke hailed Foster's ''exceptional'' performances last season, and said the goalkeeper has been a priority signing for the club.

Foster's impressive form contributed to West Brom's best-ever 10th place finish in the Premier League.
Foster played at the Hawthorns on loan from Birmingham City last season. The former England international previously played for Manchester United.
