Vidic negotiates Inter exit; linked with D.C. United
Nemanja Vidic looks set to leave Inter Milan imminently after the Serbian's agent revealed talks were being held over terminating the defender's contract.
Vidic has failed to make a single appearance for Inter this season due to a back injury and the centre-half's relationship with coach Roberto Mancini is said to have suffered as a result.
The former Manchester United star, who moved to the San Siro on a free transfer in 2014, is now negotiating an early release from his contract after an 18-month stay.
Vidic's agent Silvano Martina told FCInter1908.it: "I know very little of what will be the future. Possible resolution of contract in January? He's speaking, we see a bit.
"But it not yet has been done. the boy is fine, for the moment only think to train."
Reports in Serbia had suggested that Vidic would be released from his contract by Inter president Erick Thohir to enable the 34-year-old to link up with DC United. Indonesian businessman Thohir also owns the MLS franchise.
