Valencia's Mata to miss Monday's match at Racing

Valencia's Juanma Mata will miss Monday's match at Racing Santander due to injury.

The Spain international hurt his left ankle in training on Friday and has been left out of the squad.

Valencia is fourth in the Spanish league after winning its last five games. During that run, Mata has scored three goals, including two late winners.

The 22-year-old forward recently agreed to a two-year contract extension that will keep him at the Spanish club until 2014.
