Former Brazil coach Luiz Felipe Scolari has been suspended two matches after being sent off in a recent Brazilian league match.
Brazil's sports tribunal late Monday found the Palmeiras coach guilty of indiscipline when his team defeated Atletico Mineiro 3-2 in Sao Paulo on July 31.
Referee Sandro Meira Ricci sent Scolari from the touchline and accused him of inciting violence and offending the officiating crew.
Scolari, who led Brazil to the 2002 World Cup title in South Korea and Japan, was facing a 12-match suspension and a $125,000 (?140,000) fine.

Eight-time champion Palmeiras is sixth in the 20-team Brazilian league standings with 29 points, eight less than leader Corinthians. Palmeiras faces Corinthians on Sunday.
