Toure closes in on Barcelona exit
Outgoing Barcelona president Joan Laporta has revealed the sale of midfielder Yaya Toure is at a 'very advanced' stage.
The Ivorian has stated his desire to ply his trade in the Premier League, adding to rumours that he is set to leave Barca this summer.
A number of clubs have been linked with the Ivory Coast international, with Manchester City and Arsenal both said to be admirers.
"The sale of Toure is very advanced," said Laporta, who is to be replaced by Sandro Rosell at the end of the month.
Toure confirmed his liking for England's top division but stressed he is focused on the World Cup, with his nation set to tackle Portugal in Group G on Tuesday.
He said on Sky Sports News: "I have said for a long that I want to play in the Premier League.
"For me, the Premier League is a very good competition and I love that.
"After the World Cup I will decide what I want to do."
